Key difference - Glass panel gullwing side doors with sliding openings for ventilation. The EVO Sport is the only SmartCap with this feature, and is popular for owners who are looking to transport pets or sleep inside the pickup bed. If this sounds like your usage, the SmartCap EVO Sport is probably the cap for you.

SmartCap EVOa Adventure
The SmartCap EVOa Adventure is the same in the front and back as the EVO Sport, however the EVOa Adventure features solid steel side doors with interior MOLLE panels. If you want glass in the front and rear, but are more likely to add bins on the sides than have dogs in the back, the SmartCap EVOa Adventure is probably the right cap for you.

SmartCap EVOd Defender
